Last Round of Maternity Clothes

It's spring time in Louisiana (sorry to rub it in, Chicago and Missouri!) and I am running out of clothes to wear! My regular bottoms and tops aren't cutting it anymore and my work doesn't allow leggings (absurd). I've been rotating the few flowy dresses that I already have, a couple of Lori Hale's maternity dresses and the two maternity dresses I bought from Old Navy and Gap. So I decided to add this cute spring/summer orange eyelet sundress to the line up.

These demi panel slim crop pants from Gap will look chic during the spring and summer and hopefully I can continue to wear them after the pregnancy!

I was a fool to think that my regular tank tops would magically stretch over this baby bump. I bought these two rib-knit tanks from Old Navy that I'm hoping will be super comfy for the hot and muggy weekends to come. I can also add scarves and cardigans to change up the look.

Luckily Old Navy and Gap had 25%-30% deals going on today with free shipping for purchases over $50. Plus I had a gift card left over from Christmas and many Old Navy and Gap points saved up to make these grabs stress free!

25 Weeks and New Car

25 weeks today. Things are starting to get a LITTLE uncomfortable over here. But I'm trying not to complain because I know it only gets worse. No, I'm definitely about to complain here. Several times throughout the day my stomach is just so heavy!  When I stand up I have to hike it to the bathroom. When I sneeze it feels like I'm pulling a stomach muscle and I'm going to sneeze her out on accident. My mid back hurts a lot but I have no idea why. It's getting more and more difficult to roll over in bed and I get 5 hours of sleep max a night. I'm STARVING all day every day and I don't care what people say, if it's healthy it doesn't fill you up. I drink a ton of water to fill the void but then I just have to pee every 10 minutes (ok, maybe every 20 minutes). My regular tops and pants are no longer an acceptable option. And to top it all off, my tiredness is coming back. At least I haven't gone completely crazy on Geoff. Well, if you would ask him he might disagree. So much to look forward to in my 3rd trimester!

Good news though! We bought a family car on Monday! Geoff was very diligent with his research and we finally decided on a used white 2010 Lexus RX 350. I have no idea what he will do with his spare time now.

What is Happening to My Body?!

I had my first nosebleed this morning. The first nosebleed in this pregnancy and in my life. I know that they are a perfectly normal pregnancy symptom (nosebleeds during pregnancy) so we didn't freak out. We stuffed my nose with toilet paper and carried on with getting ready for work.

My linea nigra is really making an appearance these days! And it's crooked, which is driving me crazy. The line ventures a little to the left of my belly button. On that note, my belly button is flat and could pop out any day. I won't even go into detail about other areas of my body that are noticeably darker.

None of these "issues" really bother me though. When Ellery moves or kicks me, I stop whatever I'm doing just to watch my stomach and feel her. It's amazing, and makes all of the adjustments worth it.

Organs

I asked Geoff the other day "Where do all of my organs go?" Then I googled it and found this interactive diagram. No wonder some people get heartburn! Go figure why I have to pee all of the time! This blew my mind.
